Canberra Raiders 1992 Great Britain Tour Jersey
On Saturday, June 6th 1992 the Canberra Raiders hosted the Great Britain Lions touring side at Bruce Stadium, Canberra. The tour was the last of such length undertaken by the Great Britain team and the first time the Raiders had participated in such a match.
In a crazy schedule, the Raiders had to play the Lions on a Saturday night only to back up and play a premiership club game against Parramatta less than 24 hours later.
This historical match also saw the Raiders take the field for the first time since joining the NSWRL in a jersey that was not their traditional home or away design. The Great Britain tour jersey more prominently featured the Blue, Gold and White colours that represented the Australian Capital Territory with a splash of the signature Canberra Raiders green kept for good measure.View full product details
